The International Association of Professional Music Teachers (IAPMT) invites you to join us on an exclusive tour of Asia in June 2026, offering unparalleled performance opportunities in esteemed venues alongside captivating sightseeing in South Korea!
This unique tour is designed for classical musicians seeking to expand their horizons, connect with international audiences, and experience the vibrant cultures of two fascinating countries.
Registration & Eligibility Guidelines
- Please visit Event Registration in order to sign-up for this event.
- Automatic Eligibility: Direct invitations for the 2026 Asia Tour are extended to:
- Selected 1st and 2nd place winners from the 2025 Autumn Grand Competition.
- Selected featured performers from the 2025 Carnegie Concert Series.
- The Registration Process:
- Eligible Performers: The “2026 Korea Concert Tour” button will automatically appear in your portal.
- All Other Applicants: If you do not meet the direct eligibility criteria, you will see a button to register for the 2026 Korea Concert Tour Auditions.
- Audition-Based Entry: Once your audition video has been submitted and reviewed, your status will update to “Passed.” At that point, the official Tour Registration button will become available.
- Accessing the Portal: You can find all relevant buttons under the Event Registration page.
- Account Requirements: You must be logged in to view your eligibility status and register.
- If you do not have an account, please create a Contestant or Teacher account to get started.
If you believe you are eligible based on your 2025 results but do not see the Tour Registration button, please ensure you are logged into the correct account. You may also email support at support@iapmt.com so that we may verify your eligibility.

- 14:00 – 19:00 – Seoul sightseeing: Old city center and Insadong Culture Street. This is one of Seoul’s most famous cultural streets, filled with traditional shops, art galleries, teahouses, and craft stores. Highlights include shopping for souvenirs, trying traditional tea, and enjoying street snacks like hotteok (sweet pancakes).

- Gyeongbokgung Palace: Built in 1395, this is the largest and most significant palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Key highlights include the Gwanghwamun Gate (main entrance), the Geunjeongjeon Throne Hall, the royal living quarters, and the beautiful traditional gardens.
- National Folk Museum of Korea: Located directly inside the palace grounds, this museum showcases historic artifacts, life-size village displays, and exhibits on traditional daily rituals, clothing, and farming.
- Bukchon Hanok Village: A historic neighborhood nestled between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces, featuring hundreds of preserved hanok (traditional Korean houses), scenic viewpoints over tiled rooftops, and small craft workshops.

- Itaewon & Haebangchon (HBC): Trendy, multicultural neighborhoods widely celebrated for their international cuisine, vibrant cafés, and nightlife.
- Gwangjang Market: One of Seoul’s oldest continuous traditional markets, world-famous for local street food like bindaetteok (crispy mung bean pancakes) and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes).
- National Museum of Korea: The largest museum in South Korea, housing an incredible, extensive collection of the country’s fascinating history, ancient artifacts, and fine arts.
