Sotto un cielo sereno con una piacevole temperatura di 23\u00b0C e venti leggeri a 9,6 km\/h, l&#8217;atmosfera era perfetta per un pomeriggio di squisita arte. <\/p>\n\n<p>Il concerto ha visto la partecipazione di un totale di 22 talentuosi partecipanti, culminando in un&#8217;esperienza davvero memorabile per tutti i presenti. Un momento clou del pomeriggio \u00e8 stata l&#8217;apparizione di due artisti ospiti molto speciali: la brillante pianista Suki Lai e l&#8217;acclamata soprano Olivera Mercurio. <\/p>\n\n<p>Suki Lai ha calcato il palco con una performance pianistica vivace e magistrale della \u201cSonata in Re maggiore, 3\u00b0 movimento\u201d di Joseph Haydn, catturando il pubblico con la sua abilit\u00e0 tecnica e sensibilit\u00e0 musicale. Successivamente, Olivera Mercurio ha offerto un&#8217;interpretazione incantevole di \u201cSola, Perduta, Abbandonata\u201d dall&#8217;iconica opera di Giacomo Puccini <em>Manon Lescaut<\/em>, la sua voce potente ed emotiva ha riempito la sala di intensa drammaticit\u00e0. <\/p>\n\n<p>Il programma variegato ha presentato un ricco arazzo di composizioni classiche, con ulteriori selezioni musicali di compositori venerati tra cui Albert Pieczonka, Camille Saint-Sa\u00ebns, Edward MacDowell, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Joseph Haydn, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chopin, Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Joseph Haydn, Kristina Arakelyan, Ludwig van Beethoven, Muzio Clementi, Robert Schumann, Robert Vandall, William Gillock e Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.<\/p>\n\n<p>Il concerto dell&#8217;IAPMT al Palazzo Esterh\u00e1zy \u00e8 stato una testimonianza del potere duraturo della musica e della dedizione dei suoi professionisti, lasciando il pubblico con un profondo apprezzamento per l&#8217;arte esibita.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Curiosit\u00e0 sul Palazzo Esterh\u00e1zy: da fortezza a palazzo<\/h3>\n\n<p>Le origini del Palazzo Esterh\u00e1zy risalgono alla fine del XIII secolo, quando era un castello gotico. Inizialmente una fortezza difensiva, fu posseduto prima dalla famiglia Gutkeled prima di passare alla potente famiglia Kanizsay nel 1364. Sotto la loro propriet\u00e0, il castello sub\u00ec uno sviluppo significativo e fu integrato nelle difese della citt\u00e0, diventando un \u201ccastello cittadino medievale\u201d. La sua posizione strategica al confine occidentale del Regno d&#8217;Ungheria ne sottoline\u00f2 l&#8217;importanza militare durante un&#8217;epoca turbolenta.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Il carattere del castello inizi\u00f2 ad evolversi nel corso dei secoli, passando da una pura roccaforte a una residenza pi\u00f9 confortevole. Questa trasformazione acceler\u00f2 nel 1622 quando la famiglia Esterh\u00e1zy acquis\u00ec la propriet\u00e0. Mentre la grandezza del palazzo barocco che vediamo oggi deriva in gran parte dalle ampie ristrutturazioni degli Esterh\u00e1zy nel XVII secolo, esso poggia sulle fondamenta di questa fortezza medievale molto pi\u00f9 antica, una testimonianza della sua duratura importanza storica.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Featured Performers<\/h2><h4><hr><\/h4><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Cayden Croswhite<\/h2><figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full is-resized has-custom-border\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);margin-left:0\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iapmt.org\/media\/formidable\/3\/IMG_5753.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image\" style=\"border-radius:15px;width:600px;\"><\/figure><p><p>Cayden Croswhite is a 6 th grader attending Valley Christian Schools in San Jose, California. He started learning piano when he was 5 years old and currently studies with Dr. Yu-Chi Tai. At age 7, Cayden won 1 st Prize and Outstanding Gold Medalist at U.S. Open Music Competition. Since then, he has participated and won top prizes in many competitions including MTAC Piano Concerto Competition, CAPMT Honors<br \/>\nCompetition, CAPMT Contemporary Competition, CAPMT Concerto Competition, and USIMC. In 2024, he won First Place at the American Prot\u00e9g\u00e9 International Music Talent Competition and gave his debut performance at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Cayden has been honored to participate in master classes from renowned pianists including Ian Hobson, Meng-Chieh Liu, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Victor Rosenbaum, Jean-David Coen, Vyacheslav Gryaznov, Sandra Wright Shen, Joachim Reinhuber, Yu-Jane Yang, and Ratko Delorko. Meanwhile, he loves playing chamber music and has been selected to perform at music festivals such as C\u2019est Bon Chamber Music Festival, Peng Piano Academy, and Oclef Contemporary Music Festival. He is a member of Valley Christian Junior Conservatory Chamber Ensemble.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to piano, he has been learning violin for three years and is part of Valley Christian Middle School Orchestra. Apart from music, Cayden is a competitive swimmer, having participated in Age Group Championships and Far Western Championships multiple times. Cayden aims to achieve excellence as an athlete in the future.<\/p>\n<\/p><h4><hr><\/h4><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Grace Jordan Francois-Rosa<\/h2><figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized has-custom-border\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);margin-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iapmt.org\/media\/formidable\/3\/GraceJordan_Piano.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image\" style=\"border-radius:15px;width:600px;\"><\/figure><p><p>American pianist Grace Jordan is an emerging classical artist whose performances are shaped by both a deep love for the classical tradition and a thoughtful curiosity about the stories behind the music she performs.<\/p>\n<p>Grace began studying piano at the age of six and has pursued advanced musical training under Mrs. Olga Corcoran. Alongside her formal studies, she has participated in numerous music festivals and masterclasses with world-class pedagogues, experiences that have further enriched her artistic development. In 2025 she performed in Vienna, Prague, and Dresden, and completed summer music studies in Cremona, Italy, a city long associated with the great traditions of European musical craftsmanship.<\/p>\n<p>Grace has completed the upper levels of the Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate Program, earning First Class Honors and Honors with Distinction, and has also received high distinction in music theory through both the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Music Teachers\u2019 Association of California. She has consistently earned Superior Ratings in the National Guild of Piano Teachers Auditions and has been regularly invited to perform in the National Federation of Music Clubs Honors Recital, recognizing her continued musical excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Grace was awarded First Place in the Grand Concours International Piano Competition for Romantic repertoire, presented by the International Association of Professional Music Teachers (IAPMT), an honor that led to her performance at Carnegie Hall in 2025. In 2026, she earned First Place in the U.S. International Open Music Competition (Advanced Category) for both Baroque and Contemporary repertoire, along with Second Place honors in the Classical, Romantic, and Young Artist divisions.<\/p>\n<p>Her repertoire spans the classical tradition from Bach and Beethoven to Chopin and Schumann, alongside modern composers such as George Gershwin. Her performances reflect a thoughtful approach to interpretation and a curiosity about the musical ideas that shape the works she studies. Particularly drawn to the historical and cultural context behind the music she performs, Grace enjoys sharing these insights through written reflections that accompany her performances.<\/p>\n<p>Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Grace continues to develop her work as both a performer and emerging scholar. Originally from Seoul, Korea, she began her piano studies at the age of five and gained recognition through numerous competition awards and her first solo recital at twelve.<br \/>\nShe trained at Seoul Arts High School, Korea\u2019s most prestigious arts institution, before earning her bachelor's degree from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea, where she received a major leadership scholarship, was consistently on the Dean\u2019s List, and graduated magna cum laude, ranking second in her department. She later completed her Master\u2019s in Piano Pedagogy at Texas Tech University, where she also earned a Graduate Certificate in Collaborative Piano.
